Objectives Met Scouts were able to: 1. Explore the history of both collage art and artist and textile origins from various cultures and ancient time periods through a time line. 2. Create and share a "cubomania" collage online or by hand that tells us something about themselves. 3. Create and share a color themed or color complimentary collage online or by hand that advertises a camp, event, trip, club,etc. 4. Create and share a 3-D (assemblage) collage that gives a message. 5. Virtually visit a craft store to learn from an expert about the basic tools needed for the yarn-based craft of crocheting. 6. Follow instructions for making something useful to share, wear, or use with recycled plastic grocery bags and the art of finger crocheting. 7. Follow instructions for dying textiles with natural plant dyes in order to make something to share,wear, or use that is tie-dyed (or simply dyed). 8. Investigate the art of spinning flax and fleece and using a loom to weave textile art from a local artist in a virtual video interview.
