Gynecologyliterally means "the science of women" and is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive systems (vagina, uterus and ovaries) and the breasts.
Our particular bodies, due to individual genetics or environmental exposures, may be at risk for certain problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or cancers.
Understanding the signs, tests and screenings to identify these individual risks BEFORE they become un-treatable problems is extremely important.
