Leaf Imprint Jewelry or Coaster
Pressing a leaf that has large veins into clay works best for creating an imprint of the leaf's veins and edges.
Once your clay is shaped , paint it !
Use an air-dry clay or you can choose a polymer clay to bake & harden it. Do not use a wax or oil based clay, which never hardens!
(Attach felt to back of coasters.)

Dragonfly clip (Hot glue maple seeds to a twig & decorate with glitter glue or paint.) Hot glue on a barrette for your hair, a clothespin or just as a decoration.)
Decoupage leaves to a mason jar, add twine and/or burlap for a candle holder.
Decoupage leaves to tiles for coasters. You will need to press the tree parts under some waxed paper and heavy books before applying to tile so they are flat. (Maybe do a tile for each season: fall colored leaves, green summer leaves, spring flowers (pressed), winter- paint a branch with snow and cardinal on it?) Glue felt to the bottom of the tile coaster.
Paint a tree and attach colorful buttons as the leaves.
Gather small twigs that have naturally fallen to the ground. Hot glue them to the side of a glass container. Secure with twine or burlap for a decorative candle holder or pencil holder.
Find a small branch that has fallen naturally to the ground. Have an adult either help you cut several cross section pieces to make coasters (You will need to sand and seal each of them.) or drill large holes in it to insert votive candles. Seal each with a clear coat of polyurethane.
